Personal Information

Ursula grew up working on her family’s small grains and vegetable crop farm on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. After graduating from Virginia Tech Ursula spent 7 years working as a classified staff Research Technician at the Virginia Tech Eastern Shore Agriculture Research and Extension Center (ESAREC) in Painter, VA. While at the AREC she spent two years working with the Soil Scientist researching nutrient leaching trials and five years working with the Vegetable Crops Specialist who focused on methyl bromide alternatives for plasticulture. Ursula joined Virginia Cooperative Extension as an ANR Extension Agent in May 2013.
