Erin Morgan
Background Info
Erin Morgan grew up in Tappahannock, VA where she was a member of 4-H and FFA. As a 4-H member Erin loved to participate in the drama category of Share the Fun and was selected to represent her county of Essex at the District competition. Erin also loved attending 4-H camp at Jamestown 4-H Center. Erin attended 4-H camp as a camper, teen leader, and adult volunteer. She also attended 4-H Congress twice. After graduating high school, Erin went to Virginia Tech where she was a dual major in Horticulture and Agriculture Education with an emphasis in Extension Education. Erin went on to obtain her Masters of Sceince from Virginia Tech in Career and Technical Education, with an emphasis in Agriculture and Extension Education. Upon graduating from Virginia Tech, Erin accepted a position with North Carolina State University where she served as the 4-H Youth Development Agent for Jones County for 13 years. In 2015, Erin's husband accepted an engineering position on the Eastern shore of Virginia. After moving to the shore Erin accepted a position with the University of Maryland Extension as a nutrition educator. In September 2018, Erin came back to her passion of 4-H as the Northampton County 4-H Agent.
